Bottom Line
They offer pictures and text messages along with phone service with each order. They have different levels of shaving and have a A+ rating with the BBB Better Business Bureau.
Lesser bat shaving experience of 3 years. No guarantee statement on website. Different pricing for different brands of bats. Turn around time is on the high end of the spectrum.
The Bat Doc has been in business for a very long time but new ownership has three years of bat shaving experience. DO NOT mistake this bat shaver with Batdoctor.net they are absolutely two different people on very opposite sides of the our reviews.

The Bat Doc has a long presence in the bat-altering field but has been recently bought by another bat shaver who has three verified years of experience. The website is not the most flashy, but it provides simple, easy-to-use navigation. Different pricing for different types of bats is an oddity. Most bat shavers have one price for all bats, but The Bat Doc's prices are lower than most companies. Turn around time is a little longer than most, and they do not offer a rush service. There are extensive options when choosing your shaving, including a number of different weights, levels of shaving, and heated bat rolling. The fact that they display a phone number and takes pictures of your bat inside the lathe lets me know they have the customer in mind.

Complaint
I placed an order with The Bat Doc, LLC on June 6th, 2015 in the amount of $384.98. I spoke to the owner once in the middle of June and he gave excuses regarding a backordered cap as to why I had not received my order. Since then, the small home based company has failed to return my calls and delivery of the item and service that I ordered immediately or a full refund immediately.
The Bat Doc Response
Money has been refunded.

Delivery Issues
Complaint
2 bats were sent to the bat doc on April 15, 2015 for machining and return to *******. Despite numerous texts and calls to the bat doc, these bats have not been returned. My credit card has been charged $281. but the bats have not been returned. Last word was in May when I was told that their lathe was in need of repair but that it would be up and running again within a week. If the machined bats can't be returned promptly, I would ask for a full credit of $281. to my credit card plus the cost of the new bats of $500. and the bat doc can keep the bats. Total compensation sought for $781.

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********* and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For... your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I rec’d 1 of the 2 bats and have been asking The Bat Doc for a status as to when the 2nd one will be shipped with no response to date.Regards, **** *********
The Bat Doc Response
The Mizuno bat will be shipping this week. to keep from having future complaints of this nature, we are no longer shaving Mizuno bats. (They require end cap replacement and my cap source has become unreliable) Not worth the trouble. Thanks!
